What Does this semen Test Result Mean?

Sir ,

I am the Patient of Azoospermia and my report for semen on July 2010 was as follows:-

Volume - 6.0 ml

colour - Gray White

Appearance - Opalescent

Viscosity - Thick

Ph - 7.7

Liquification time - 35 Minuts

total Sperm Count - Nil

Active Motle - 00%

Sluggish Motile - 00%

Non Motile - 00%

Morphology - 00%

Pus Cells - 2-3/HPF

RBC - Nil / HPF

Sample Collection - Inside the Lab

Opinion - Azoospermia.

Sir i Am Married and unfertile plz help me in this regard, the problem is with my testies.

my left testies is not seen in ultrasound scrotum report.

right testies is normal in size, shape & conours. lt testis: measures 3.1 x 1.4.

No evidence of hydrocele or varicocele on either side observed.

Hello

Your semen analysis suggests azoospermia(absence of sperm in semen).
Few pus cells in semen is acceptable.Pus cells more than 10 in number should be the cause of concern.
Few pus cells may be found due to contamination in genital tract.

Besides proper clinical examination,you need proper investigations for azoospermia.It include routine hemogram,RBS,hormone analysis.Biopsy can be done if needed.
Azoospermia can be both obstructive or non-obstructive in nature.

Normal fertilization is possible even with single testis.

Treatment depend upon findings.
